Great for people with kids or pets, February 23, 2012 This review is from: Safety 1st Nature Sound Bouncenette (Baby Product) We bought the previous version of this bouncer 4 years ago when our first son was born because we had two large dogs and needed a safe place for him to lay. We loved the zip able cover that could enclose him completely. A feature that hasn't gotten used as much as we thought it would, but was handy at times. More often, just having the hood up provided enough protection.
The sounds were a bit disappointing. They are both basically white noise. On the plus side, we've taken this camping multiple times with multiple babies and have used the battery powered white noise in the tent to help them sleep. It worked great as a portable crib while camping since it is able to recline into a flat bed.
The toys that it came with are not very bright, so we took them off and attached some links with toys of our own. Our third baby now sits and talks to her toys and enjoys being in this seat. It also keeps her safer from her older brothers!

Great bouncer, October 11, 2011 This review is from: Safety 1st Nature Sound Bouncenette (Baby Product) I bought this bouncer for my daughter when I was pregnant. My baby loved it at first and it was the only place she would sleep and she loved toe vibrations. Now she likes to sit straight up so she doesnt care for it as much because it does lay back. The only complaint I have is that I wish you could sit it up a little higher when the baby gets bigger. The bug net was perfect for bringing the baby camping or just to sit outside. She never got any bug bites. It also has songs and nature sounds which is nice for play and sleep. And it does have an off button. Some previous reviews say it doesn't but it does. You just hold down the same button you used to turn it on and it will turn back off. It's definitely a great bouncer for people that like to be outside.
