I originally made this purchase because my daughter doesn't like the sun in her face--- really, what baby does? I thought this would provide a shade for her. It does to some extent but I think she will need to wear her wide brimmed hat while in her stroller. It somewhat protects against insects, wind, and dust. This cover does not offer a complete seal, so bugs can get through, and so can dust. We live in the country so we have a lot of that around-- at all hours of the day. This product claims to be water resistant. We have yet to take it out in light drizzle. I will be sure to update this review when that time comes. Bumbleride does not carry their own line of covers- just the rain cover.
UPDATE:
I used this today in drizzle. We went for a 5 minute stroll. When we got home, I removed the cover, and my little one was drizzled on. This product is NOT water resistant like in claims in the product description.
